Girl goes travelling, girl meets boy, girl marries boy. It’s the classic international romance. I know because I was that girl too.
Nikki met Kevin in Oz and their romance quickly blossomed into something deeper. After she said yes they decided Dingle was the idyllic spot to host their transatlantic wedding. With Nikki’s family flying in from the states, Kevin from the gardens of Wicklow, and many other international guests the West of Ireland is a good middle ground. Dingle also holds a special place in Nikki’s heart as she had lived there a few years back.
With Dingle being a second home to me I could photograph there all day. There’s an endless array of scenery at your feet. After the ceremony I took Nikki and Kevin to Conor Pass for those epic mountain views and then down to Beenbawn beach, a hidden gem and the perfect quite spot for photos. The celebrations continued in The Dingle Skellig for everyone to eat, drink, and #bemerrigan.
