Resharing a Wedding In Switzerland at Hotel Du Lac

I had the most magical time photographing Pamela and Louis in Switzerland over three days back in 2015. For a change I wasn’t travelling solo and had the mega talented Story of Eve with me to capture their weekend on video. It was a cracking weekend. One I had to reshare. Here’s a handful of images that I hadn’t shared the first time around but I urge you to go check out the full wedding day. Did I mention Pamela wore a blue Oscar de la Renta wedding dress?!

  • "Thank you so much for capturing our wedding day beautifully - the photographs of the scenery, architecture and details, as well as portraits of the bride and groom in preparation were just as important as the ones of the ceremony and wedding breakfast in telling the story of our special day. Opened a bottle of champagne, but didn't take a second sip until clicking through all the photos! What a lovely treat to relive the day through Christina's artistic eye. We cherish the wonderful wedding celebrations, and now we have beautiful photographic memory, for the rest of our lives, and to share with our future children and generations to come.

I was not the popular girl in school. Never the overachiever. Certainly not an academic. I gravitated toward art and sport. I never wanted to stand out in the crowd. I felt comfortable behind the camera.

I love weddings and photography. I love the artistic and physical aspect of documenting a wedding day. Getting recognition was not the goal, but it’s beyond words to have it. I just want to keep producing work my clients love.

Thank you @wezoree for including me on this list. There is easily a mountain of other names on this talented island that deserve this honour.
