Luttrellstown Castle Black Tie Rehearsal Dinner

Meet Kinga and Brian, so very sweet and perfectly matched, they’re a creative couple who travelled from Canada to get married in Ireland.

I have plenty to share from Kinga and Brian’s wedding day but here is their exquisite black tie rehearsal dinner at Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin which I had the pleasure of photographing. They both wore blue. Kinga in an elegant blue ball gown and Brian in a blue suede tux. This was the evening before their wedding day. Oh to be a guest at some of these parties…

In my nearly 2 decades of photographing weddings I have a rhythm, I know what key moments make a wedding, and I have my own approach on the day to achieve what I want for each couple. Scenes from iconic London with Julie and David.

I spent two days with them and their crew traipsing from one iconic spot to the next.

Julies choice of dress change (a one off @colleenatwoodofficial original for a demure ceremony look and sequin fitted gown for the after party) elevated each part of the day.

I was not the popular girl in school. Never the overachiever. Certainly not an academic. I gravitated toward art and sport. I never wanted to stand out in the crowd. I felt comfortable behind the camera.

I love weddings and photography. I love the artistic and physical aspect of documenting a wedding day. Getting recognition was not the goal, but it’s beyond words to have it. I just want to keep producing work my clients love.

Thank you @wezoree for including me on this list. There is easily a mountain of other names on this talented island that deserve this honour.

J&H did things their own way and incorporated private vows in the small chapel ahead of their outdoor ceremony at The Cliff at Lyons estate. It was intimate with only myself and the celebrant in attendance. A real honour to be included in private moments like this.
