Tankardstown House is one of my most popular wedding venues and it’s so easy for me to see why many couples choose to get married there. The well kept gardens, glass ceiling reception room, and top notch staff make it a dream venue.
In September last year I was once again at this beautiful location and this time for the wedding ceremony and reception of Sarah and Sam who travelled the long distance from Australia to get married in style. The soft pink and blue floral theme ran throughout every detail from Sarah’s blush Maggie Sottero wedding dress, flowers from AbFab Flowers, Invitations by Zazzle, three tier wedding cake by Emily’s Pantry and all the handmade soap guest favours.
Sarah and Sam’s wedding was one with lots of high spirit. Nothing could keep the smiles and laughter at bay, not even when Sarah’s wedding car had a minor breakdown and took the wrong way getting to the ceremony. This is why I talk so much about a contingency plan! Despite the hour delay there was plenty of time for portraits and party before dinner.
