Wrapping Up 2017

It’s that time of year when I say goodbye to blogging for a few weeks. At the end of every year I take a time out from the business to enjoy the holidays and set the batteries to recharge. Now as a family of three it’s even more important to me to really focus on family during the holiday season. While I will still be in the office for a few more days and out shooting my last weddings of the year, this is my last blog post for 2017. I will return with my regular weekly posts at the end of January.

2017 was fabulous. It was definitely one of my most challenging years, with the addition of a new baby, but made it out the other end still in one piece. Juggling weddings, editing, office life, and a very overactive headstrong demanding little human took a lot of organisation and forward planning. And I thank all of my couples for their kind understanding and patience. It’s funny how I thought having a baby would leave me feeling less bothered about work life and centred more on family life, but I’ve found the opposite. I now relish the opportunity to get out and do something for myself. I found a love and passion in weddings that seems to be reignited since the arrival of Valentine.

With the new addition of baby Valentine to the Brosnan family there were definitely a lot less weddings in 2017. But each and every one was absolutely fantastic. There are still so many left to share. Here is just a small snippet of what’s to come.

2018, I’m ready.
