It must have been the black tie dress code and vera wang gown that made Lauren and Aron’s wedding feel timeless. Classic black tie weddings always make me want to share more black and white images. Honestly though Lauren and Aron’s wedding would look fab in all colour or all black and white.
Lauren and Aron were married in a civil ceremony in the orangery at Tankardstown House. Even though the wedding had a traditional classic wedding feel their wedding day was made fun and relaxed by the fun details throughout and by having all parts of the day happen in one location.
I had met Lauren and Aron the previous year for an engagement shoot at Ticknock Park in the Dublin Mountains. It was delightful to see their engagement photos printed on the envelope liners of their wedding invitations. All the details were carefully thought out to tie in with their black tie theme. The real show stopper was Lauren’s Vera Wang gown. I might have been a little more than jealous that day. Other detail included white florals by Joeanna Caffrey were in abundance, a doughnut tower by the Dublin Doughnut Company was a unique take on the traditional wedding cake, and the invitations by Wedding Paper Divas were simple yet meaningful. But while all the details were gorgeous Lauren and Aron’s romance took centre stage. It was hard not to be swept up in their loving energy for each other and for everyone around them.
I hope you enjoy this wedding as much as I do.
