Botanical Wedding at Lisnavagh House

I am so delighted to share this wedding with you today. Lisnavagh House in Carlow is a very special venue and this was my first to photograph in the new reception extension. And if you’re still on the hunt for a church for your wedding in the Carlow area be sure to visit St.Brigid’s Church in Talbotstown. Magnificent!

Roisin and Gary are a gorgeously sweet couple with tons of design talent. The combination of a great venue and their design and DIY skills resulted in one fantastic wedding day. Most of every detail you see in these photos were done by the couple including the wedding cake baked by the bride herself. Talent! Flowers and bouquets were done by Les Fleurs and Roisin’s dress was none other than an Alice Temperley paired with some Michael Kors gold heels.

For an Autumn day in September it was warm enough that guests mingled outside while sipping on signature cocktails of moscow mules and custom labelled beer listening to the tunes of Retrospect. I highly recommend them for drinks receptions. There was such joy at this wedding and by the beaming smiles Roisin and Gary wore all day it was easy to see how much they enjoyed themselves. I could go on about all the lovely details and moments but I’d rather you enjoy the eye candy.

  • "From the moment we looked at Christina’s work online we knew she was the photographer we wanted to capture our day. We loved the warm romantic feeling her her photos, the natural colours and the fact that she shoots on both film and digital. We felt the tone of her photos would perfectly compliment the style of the day.

When we met her our decision was only further compounded. Her meticulous organization, attention to detail and professionalism put us immediately at ease and we could tell the portraits on the day would be hassle free."
