As it’s the beginning of summer it feels appropriate to share with you one of my summery weddings from the beginning of last year. Yes it’s true, there are still many lovely weddings I have yet to share from 2014 and they are slowly making their way to the blog.
In June last year I had the pleasure of being witness to Susie and Oisin’s wedding day at Tankardstown House. It’s become one of my favourite venues over the years as it’s gardens and the glass ceiling in the Orangery provide the perfect light and backdrops for photos.
Susie and Oisin imagined their wedding to be a laid back affair incorporating their love of picnics and they completely pulled it off. They transformed the gardens into a picnic oasis complete with ukulele band and pimms for everyone to enjoy. The same styling was brought inside the venue where greenery hung from the ceiling and bunting adorned the wedding cake. Special mention to Lulabelle Vintage, Brown Hound Bakery, The Informal Florist, Ailbhe Lynch, Michelle Grimes, and Myrtle Ivory for supplying many of the lovely details and styling for their day. Susie was a vision in her Emma Hunt wedding gown.
Go ahead, feast your eyes on more wedding goodness.
