Springtime in Ireland is a lovely time to get married and Orla and Ian chose the Village at Lyons to celebrate their marriage. Possibly the sweetest venue in Kildare, the village offers prettiness around every corner. Orla and Ian took full advantage of their venue with ceremony in the conservatory, first look and photos in the gardens, and reception in the old mill. Orla wore a Saja wedding gown matched with a headpiece by designer Erica Elizabeth that was just perfection and a real contemporary take on the birdcage veil. Little else was needed but these two to make the venue look fab but a few simple touches by The French Touch added an extra elegance to the day.
Orla and Ian chose to incorporate a traditional hand fasting into their ceremony. An ancient celtic ritual and the original “tying the knot”, hand fasting makes for one gorgeous ceremony. Get ready to swoon over the sweetness.
