Oh boy am I excited to share today’s post! Not only is Natalie and Sal’s wedding special because it was in the Dominican Republic but also because the bride happens to be my sweet cousin.
This fab pair hail all the way from my hometown of Chicago. Along with 100 close family and friends they packed their bags and headed to the sandy beaches of Punta Cana to be hitched at Melia Caribe Tropical Resort. Natalie and Sal chose to have a ‘first look’ as their ceremony wasn’t until late in the afternoon. After the ceremony in the beach gazebo we headed to the beach where they kicked off their shoes for more relaxed photos. Natalie wore a stunning Maggie Sottero gown with killer heels from BCBG Max Azria. The guys all wore linen suits from Calvin Klein. Definitely a must in warm weather. All the stationary was handmade by the bride herself. Impressive! The day couldn’t have been more perfect and I would go back in a heartbeat for that gorgeous Caribbean light.
I’m also delighted that Natalie and Sal’s wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty Destination yesterday. Check it out for more fab photos. And also a special mention to my second shooter Kelly Sauer and the videographers Imagination Designers who joined us for the week. Check out this sneak peek film, sure to bring a tear to the eye. We’re all looking forward to seeing the full feature!
A massive thank you to Natalie and Sal for letting me be more than just a guest at the wedding. You know how much I love you!
