Dominican Republic – Travel Photos From A Recent Holiday

. category: A Slice of Christina
  • Sometimes I like to take a break from wedding related posts to show something personal and today I’m looking back on a recent family holiday.

In June I had the pleasure of travelling with Colin to the Dominican Republic for a family wedding. Our trip began on Colin’s birthday and ended on our 7th anniversary. I’d say we started and ended on a very high note. My youngest cousin Natalie and her new hubby Sal were married at Melia Caribe Tropical. I doubly had the pleasure of photographing the wedding as well as enjoying myself as a guest (stay tuned for that blog post). We spent the week relaxing most days by the pool or beach. I’ll be honest, beach holidays are not generally our cup of tea. We like to wander and sightsee. But as we only see my family once a year I couldn’t put a value on how great it was just to hang out with everyone for the week. Something I hope to change in the near future by expanding my services to Chicago couples.

These are a collection of my travel photos from our trip, my other photography passion. A few of the beautiful beach, the resort, my family, and a few of us just because. I immensely want to go back and shoot in that amazing light again.
