Quick Tip Thursday: Time For Details

. category: Wedding Tips
  • I stress a lot about time when planning your wedding day. Don’t forget to leave enough time for your photographer to capture the lovely details of your venue before guests sit down for dinner. You’ve put a lot of preparation into your day and it’s an important part of the story. Depending on how near or far your ceremony and reception locations are from each other will determine how much time to leave between the end of your ceremony and the call to dinner. My personal opinion is to allow 45 mins to an hour for all the necessary group and wedding portraits and at least 30-40 mins for you to mingle at your drinks reception. That will allow your photographer some time to get those pretty venue details and some guest shots during cocktail hour.
