I had been teased and kept in suspense for months. I was told to buy a new dress and be prepared to look good. That’s all I knew. The night before my 30th birthday I was surprised with tickets to London, or so I thought. In the airport I got a nice shock that I was being brought to Paris for the weekend. After being away for 8 years I was dying for a visit. Paris is a place of so many wonderful memories, the best of course being where I met Colin. The weekend was planned to perfection and the real birthday treat was a 3 hour photoshoot around the city with talented photographer Audrey of One and Only Paris Photography, whom I can’t thank enough. I can’t possibly think of a better way to have spent my 30th than in a city I love with the person I love. I might just be the luckiest girl in the world.

It was great being on the other side of the camera and to experience what my couples are put through, though picking photos for a blog post about myself is much more challenging and I can’t help thinking Mr. Brosnan Photographic is looking better with his 3 piece suit than me. ;)

I’m delighted to have these to mark a big milestone in my life that I can look back on in years to come. As photographs are so important to us it’s become a little tradition to hire a photographer to take photos of us on holidays. Otherwise we tend not to have photos of us together, ever.
