Heather and Brett, two lovebirds from California, tied the knot in the South of France under a tree. Need I say more?
With a few close friends and family, Heather and Brett packed their bags and headed to the small village of Villeghelenc, France just outside Carcassonne to get married. Their ceremony and reception was held in the garden at Le Moulin house. Atop a hill, under the trees they said their vows. Having one of the guests officiate the ceremony made it extra special and intimate. Before the ceremony Heather & Brett chose to take a few photos around the village and then after the ceremony we went for a few photos around the gardens at Le Moulin.
I loved their relaxed chic picnic style affair with guests playing games of Petanque, a buffet style dinner, and french apple pies for dessert. The prettiest detail had to be their traditional French croquembouche. A very sweet alternative to a wedding cake and as tasty as it looks!
It’s always an honour to be chosen to be part of a couples wedding day, but especially when it’s such an intimate affair it’s lovely to be included in the celebrations. Be sure to check out Heather and Brett’s wedding on Style Me Pretty!
