A gorgeous bride, a handsome groom, a charming venue and pretty little details make Carolyn and Will’s wedding super sweet. The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere on their wedding day made this a real treat to photograph. Carolyn and Will ooze style and elegance as you may remember from their engagement session. Carolyn looked graceful in her Ugo Zaldi wedding gown paired with a soft pink peonies bouquet and Will looked dapper in his navy Paul Costello suit. Carolyn very cleverly paired matching skirts from Zara with lace tops from Oasis for the bridesmaids. Yes ladies you heard right … Zara and Oasis! And did they look stunning!
Most every detail was lovingly made by a friend or family member but you’d never guess they were homemade. The setting of Drishane House was the perfect choice for Carolyn and Will’s soft and delicate wedding theme. Drishane House also holds another meaning for Carolyn and Will. The house is owned by Will’s brother’s godfather Tom Somerville the grandson of writer Edith Somerville who co-published a series of fourteen stories and novels. It’s lovely that they chose somewhere that had meaning to them and their family.
And now, the photos!
