This is the first part of a very special two part wedding of Ciara and Rian. When I say that I love my job I really do mean it. Ciara and Rian are spoiling me with their wedding, or should I say weddings. They decided to have a very intimate wedding ceremony in St. Finbar’s Oratory in Gougane Barra with just them and their parents. They kept the day very simple. Ciara’s stunning and very unique dress was designed for her by Ernest Perryman Designs. Her pink peonies bouquet was created by Cork Flower Studio. I loved the simple arrangement.
Both being music teachers Rian surprised Ciara with a three piece ensemble to play while she walked down the aisle. Ciara was expecting some music playing from an ipod! After the ceremony Rian surprised Ciara again with a brass ensemble to play as they walked down the aisle and out of the chapel. The ensemble quietly set up outside the chapel during the ceremony. It was a really amazing moment.
After the ceremony Ciara and Rian planned a quiet dinner with their parents in Bantry. The 2 hours in between I had freedom to play, in which I mean photograph! The day could not have been more perfect. I had free reign around the lake and mountains in Gougane Barra, Ciara even brought her wellies! We then headed to Bantry House where we had an hour to ourselves in the gardens and in the house. Pure Magic!
Part two is taking place in France at the end of the month! It’s going to be a bigger celebration with lots of lovely things planned. I won’t reveal anything yet! Ciara and Rian thank you for letting me be part of your very special celebrations!
