Mary and Barry had one of the most perfect winter weddings. The snow had just started to fall and left a lovely fresh dusting on the ground which added to the ambiance of the day. It truly was a 'nice day for a white wedding'. Mary and Barry chose the gorgeous setting of Barberstown Castle for their winter wedding. It's big open fires and dark wood decor is perfect for a Christmas wedding. The red and white bouquets and Tara Keely wedding dress from White Orchid added the finishing touches to create a very wintery vibe.
After the wedding ceremony in St.Mary's Church in Lucan village guests headed back to Barberstown Castle where mulled wine and Christmas carolers warmed the atmosphere. Mary and Barry braved the cold for some fabulous wedding portraits. A stunning feather wrap helped keep Mary warm. I love feathery wraps on winter brides!
After dinner Digital DJs got everyone up on their feet and dancing. Mary took off her veil and really showed off her stunning dress! Congratulations Mary and Barry! Thank you for letting me be a part of your day. Also involved in the wedding day was makeup artist Ruth Maybin, hair stylist Susan Peggs, videographers DC Media, cake specialists Simply Elegant Cakes, and Eileen Coyle wedding singer who providing the church music. Everyone did a fantastic job.
