Suzanne + Paul’s French Chic Wedding in Kildare

. category: Weddings
  • Suzanne and Paul's wedding was utterly stunning. I was seriously blown away with every detail. The Village at Lyons was the perfect setting for their super chic wedding with it's old world and vintage charm. Suzanne, also the face behind Covet (a shop every girl needs!), had her wedding preparations in the gorgeous bridal suite. She wore the most stunning two piece Monique Lhuillier wedding gown while Paul sported a D&G suit, these two were tres chic. Brown Sugar did a fab job styling and making up all the girls. Not that they needed any of it! Suzanne is a stunner! Their letterpress wedding invitations were from Elum and the design was carried through to mass booklets, signs, menues, even the seating chart. I especially love the wording on their invitations. The first line read: " Suzanne and Paul have decided to cease their protest against convention". Classic! I love their originality.

Suzanne and Paul put a lot of thought into making their wedding the perfect party with non-stop entertainment. After a late afternoon ceremony it was out into the courtyard for chinese lanterns, then back in for cocktail hour with instrumental band The Cotton Club. After dinner guests were invited into the conservatory for dessert with the music of Gitano, a spanish guitar trio. Then back in for a bit more dancing with The Legends of Swing. Suzanne and Paul had been taking tango lessons and prepared a short dance they were to perform as their first dance, complete with and outfit change for Suzanne, unfortunately they didn't get to perform it but I'm sure it would have been amazing!

A big shout out goes to Deirdre of The Bridal Lounge and Ruby & Bloom for doing an outstanding job with the event styling and flowers. Anything these girls touch turns to gold! A very big Thank You to Suzanne and Paul for letting me document a very magical day! Enjoy your honeymoon in India and the Maldives! It's well deserved.Your Wedding Photographer,
