Barbara + Gearoid’s Wexford Wedding

. category: Uncategorized
  • Barbara and Gearoid are a super sweet couple and so laid back. So much that they didn't let a little rain ruin their wedding day. Really it was a LOT of rain that day. Usually when it rains it starts and stops allowing us a few moments outside for photos, but that day was nonstop. I had never been to the hotel before so didn't know if there would be suitable places for some nice portraits. But I noticed that at the entrance to the church there was really nice light. The heavy misting rain created beautiful light and I wanted to take advantage. So after everyone said their 'congratulations' to Barbara and Gearoid and headed to the hotel we hung back for a few minutes for a quick portrait session. I am really pleased that we did because we got some great photos. When we got to the hotel I found a corner with some nice light coming in from the window and took a few more snaps. I've learned to look for good lighting first and location second. You can do so much more with good lighting. I'm so happy Barbara and Gearoid didn't let a little (or a LOT of) rain ruin their fun! Congratulations Barbara and Gearoid!
