I am so lucky to have some of the best clients to work with and Clare and Aidan are definitely no exception! Clare and Aidan live in London but are getting married in Ireland next year. I was in London recently for a photography workshop and suggested to them to have an engagement session. I was thrilled when they jumped at the opportunity!

Because it was a weekday and they were limited to their lunch hour I suggested a picnic styled session so that at least they could have their lunch. It worked out brilliantly. Clare and Aidan are so adorable together and I am just in love with their photos. I cannot wait for the wedding! See you both next year!

There are so many ways to create an eco friendly seating chart and still keep it looking stylish. A few ideas is to double up your seating chart with your wedding favours. I guarantee your guests will get a smile when they see a bright coloured lolly with their name on it instead of a piece of paper. But anything you have for a favour would work well. Also using potted plants makes it even more green!

Another trend is writing the seating chart on a chalk board or old window pane. They can both be reused in some way. Wouldn’t it be cute to hang the window pane with all your guests names on your wall after the wedding? It becomes a great piece you can cherish.

Over the weekend while visiting the in-laws in Kerry I had the pleasure of meeting this cute ball of fur. Her name is Pippin, she is 4 months old, toilet trained, obedient, and full of energy. She belongs to Colin’s aunt and uncle. Until now I was very partial to cats. But how could you not fall in love with that face? I couldn’t believe how much harder it was to capture a photo of a puppy than a baby! They move so fast you barely have time to press the button before they become just a blur! I don’t think I did too bad though!

I couldn’t resist posting a few photos of 8 month old Sadbh. She is super adorable and was all smiles for her photoshoot. She has the cutest head of hair; curly on top and straight on bottom. She was just a doll! Portrait sessions of babies at this age are so much fun. They are at an age that they are starting to crawl and babbling a lot. They want lots of interaction and explore everything! There’s nothing cuter than capturing a baby making silly faces and eating that handful of grass that they aren’t supposed to be eating! Sadbh was the perfect little model. The first image is my absolute favourite!
