Willie’s Delectable Chocolate

. category: A Slice of Christina
  • If any of you were lucky enough to catch Willie's Chocolate Revolution on Channel 4 recently, you were no doubt left with your mouth watering and wanting more. I just had to share this with all of you. Willie's aim was to create the finest and purest chocolate bar in the world. I've had the pleasure of tasting his 70% Peruvian dark chocolate bar. There is also a 72% Venezuelan dark chocolate bar and for anyone who enjoys cooking with chocolate the 100% pure cacao is not to be scoffed at. Willie's World Class Cacao is for anyone who wants to enjoy their chocolate experiance rather than just fill their tummy. I also have to praise the branding (cute wedding favours?).

I wasn't sure if my simple palatte would pick up on the "subtle tropical fruit notes" but it actually does come through the flavour quite well.

Thanks Willie for caring about chocolate!

What it says on the back of the box:

    Tuck In...

    Long Forgotten Flavours

Selected from the province of San Martin in Peru, these beautiful beans are carefully roasted in Willie's chocolate factory in England using antique 100-year-old chocolate making machinery. The beans are then crafted into fine dark chocolate - made the way chocolate used to be (maximum taste from minimum meddling).
