Last week I was in Cinque Terre, Italy visiting family that was over from Chicago on holidays. I was only there for a couple nights but it sure is a great spot to visit. The name Cinque Terre means “The Five Lands” and is comprised of 5 villages. It is set on the rugged coast of the Italian Riviera. The five villages are connected by train, ferry and trails. To hike from the first village to the last village takes about 5 hours at a steady non-stop pace and is not for the faint hearted. Portions of the trails are quite rigorous especially in the hot sun! They seriously need to make t-shirts that say “I survived the Cinque Terre trails”!

I’ve been super excited to share this post since I found out I was doing the shoot. I was recently asked by B Wedding Magazine of Weddings Online to photograph for their Autumn issue. The theme for the photoshoot was colour. I was sent some inspiration they found on wedding blogs such as Style Me Pretty and knew I really wanted to get involved. The article which was allocated 6 pages in the magazine ended up being a 12 page spread and the cover photo so I was pretty chuffed! Even with 12 pages a lot of images didn’t make it into the magazine so I had to share them with you! Thanks to all the girls at B Wedding Magazine, Weddings Online, Aislinn our fabulous model, Joanne Gallagher of Karma Health & Beauty, Sasha Rice from Sasha Hair Couture, The French Touch, Fallon & Byrne, Farrell & Chase, Myrtle Ivory, Laduree at Brown Thomas, and The Summerhill House Hotel.

I had a fun time shooting Lynn and Andrew’s wedding. I had the lovely Nuria from Momento Photographic Studios second shooting with me. I am really getting into second shooting because it’s great to have someone to talk to and bounce ideas off. Thanks Nuria for your help! And a big thank you to Lynn and Andrew for sharing their fabulous day with us! Here are a few of my favourite images from their day.
Ceremony: St.John the Evangelist, Dublin 16
Reception: Stillorgan Park Hotel, Dublin 18

Here’s a few of Nuria’s I quite like!

I recently had the privilege of photographing Suzanne’s baby bump. I first met Suzanne when I photographed her wedding to Andre in February. Andre contacted me looking for a birthday gift for Suzanne and thought that some belly and baby portraits would be perfect. Here are my favourites from the photoshoot. I can’t wait to meet the little one!

I’ve been collaborating with the girls at The Bridal Lounge on inspirational photoshoots. The purpose is to give Irish brides creative ideas for their wedding day. Everything we use on the shoots can be found through vendors in Ireland or vendors that supply to Ireland. We will tell you exactly where you can find everything we use. You can be sure to find more fantastic ideas here on our blog or over on The Wedding Belles. For brides who need a little inspiration and help finding where to source something fabulous they’ve seen head over to Aoife and Deirdre of The Bridal Lounge. They create customised inspiration boards for brides-to-be. All decor was sourced using The Bridal Lounge suppliers and can be sourced from or hired through The Bridal Lounge.
